FULL DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Technical and Quality Assurance Co-ordinator to join our team. This is a varied and hands-on role, overseeing both our wholesale food production site and our Retail, Café, Restaurant, Kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and improve the quality management system across retail stores and warehouse.
  • Ensure daily operations are compliant with our HACCP plan.
  • Manage key contractors, including pest control and chemical suppliers.
  • Schedule and oversee microbiological testing, calibration, and verification activities. Duties to include (but not limited to):
  • Conduct regular GMP audits in the warehouse.
  • Audit retail stores and support teams in driving improvements.
  • Collaborate with head chef, and the teams to ensure new products and processes meet technical compliance before launch.
  • Maintain supplier approval processes and documentation.
  • Deliver training and coaching to teams.
  • Investigate, manage, and respond to customer complaints.
  • Check and verify legal compliance of product labels.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Level 3 Certificate in Food Hygiene & Safety in Manufacturing.
  • Level 3 Certificate in HACCP.
  • Auditor qualification.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a technical/quality role.
