[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is offering a paid apprenticeship program in London, UK, providing a 360-degree introduction to lighting design. The program includes theoretical training through an Advanced Diploma in Illumination Engineering and practical experience with an award-winning team. Apprentices will learn lighting principles, CAD drawing, 3D modeling, project management, and communication skills, working on live projects in various sectors.

What you'll learn during the 2-year apprenticeship
- Build a solid foundation in lighting principles, design theory, and illumination engineering.
- Develop hands-on skills in CAD drawing, visualisation, 3D modelling, and photometric calculations.
- Learn how to create inspiring lighting concepts, mood boards, and presentation visuals.
- Work alongside designers at all levels on live projects in hospitality, residential, workplace, and retail sectors.
- Grow your project management, teamwork, and communication skills, collaborating with clients, architects and suppliers as you progress through your apprenticeship.
- Work 4 days a week and have 1 day a week to focus on the Advanced Diploma in Illumination Engineering.
Who can apply?
- School or college leavers.
- Must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
- You must have a genuine passion for design, creativity and the built environment, but you don't need prior lighting experiences.

- Hours: 9am – 5:30pm, Monday – Thursday with half day Fridays 9am – 1pm
- The role is office based in Waterloo, London
