Product Manager
Reporting into our Transformation team, the Product Manager will take ownership of our billing product, working closely with engineering, operations, and senior business stakeholders to identify problems, shape solutions, and drive delivery. This is a hands-on role with real impact from day one — ideal for someone who is proactive, curious, and eager to grow their product career in a fast-moving, mission-driven environment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Product Discovery – Gather and synthesise customer feedback, support tickets, and operational insights to identify user pain points and opportunities for improvement.
- Roadmap Ownership – Maintain and prioritise the product backlog, making well-reasoned decisions about what to build and when, balancing business value with technical feasibility.
- Requirements & Documentation – Write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and product requirement documents (PRDs) that enable engineering to deliver with confidence.
- Delivery – Work directly with engineering and QA to drive features through to release, removing blockers and maintaining momentum.
- Stakeholder Engagement – Act as a key point of contact for product decisions, building strong relationships across the Transformation, Operations, and Engineering teams.
- Billing Domain Expertise – Develop a solid understanding of medical billing workflows, including claims processing, remittances, payer rules, and compliance requirements.
- Data & Metrics – Track key product metrics, analyse billing data, and report on the performance of product initiatives to relevant stakeholders.
Requirements and Skills:
Required
- 1–3 years of experience in a product management, business analyst, or operations role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex problems into clear requirements
- Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities independently
- Analytical mindset with comfort working with data
- Familiarity with agile/scrum methodologies
Desirable
- Exposure to medical billing, revenue cycle management (RCM), or healthcare software
- Experience working in a B2B SaaS environment
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar
Success Metrics
- Delivery cadence – Consistent and predictable shipping of product improvements in collaboration with the engineering team
- Stakeholder satisfaction – Positive feedback from Transformation and Operations teams on clarity of requirements and communication
- Product quality – Reduction in post-release defects and support escalations related to billing features
- Customer impact – Measurable improvements in key billing outcomes
- Domain knowledge – Demonstrated understanding of medical billing workflows and the ability to apply this to product decisions
