FULL DESCRIPTION
As a Confectioner, the candidate will be the lifeblood of the company. The candidate will be sticklers for accuracy, following recipes exactly to ensure consistency in regard to the food quality for all customers.
Responsibilities and duties:
- Organizing and weighing raw ingredients
- Heating confections according to recipe specifications
- Using molds to create confection shapes and textures
- Upholding workplace to food safety standards
- Working with a team to meet quantity expectations
- Packaging confections according to customer needs
- Arranging confections on display
- Assisting with special projects such as Halloween gift baskets or special offers
- Providing feedback on new products or recipe improvements
- Preparing, maintaining, and cleaning all equipment
- Applying personalisation icings and glazes to confections
