Configuration & Asset Manager
Own [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk]’s CMDB and asset data end‑to‑end. Drive accuracy, governance and insight across Managed Services, enabling better decisions and exceptional service.
What you’ll be doing
- Owning and continuously improving Configuration and Asset Management policies, standards and processes
- Managing and maintaining the integrity of the CMDB / AMDB, ensuring data accuracy, relevance and availability
- Ensuring Configuration and Asset Management processes are embedded and followed across the organisation
- Providing reporting, insights and recommendations to key stakeholders
- Supporting system integrations to enhance CMDB / AMDB capability
- Working closely with Change Management to ensure configuration items are correctly recorded and governed
- Managing relationships between configuration items to improve service quality and troubleshooting
- Driving reconciliation activities to ensure consistency and reliability of data
- Championing ESaaS and promoting best practice across [Employer hidden]
- Proactively working within governance, risk and compliance frameworks
- Supporting wider ITSM activities when required
What will you bring?
- Strong, hands‑on experience in Configuration and Asset Management
- Proven experience operating in a fast‑growth or fast‑moving environment
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Confidence communicating with a wide range of technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Ability to manage your own workload, prioritise effectively and meet tight deadlines
- A proactive mindset with a continuous improvement approach
- ITIL Foundation qualification (v3 or v4)
