Overview

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] are pleased to be partnering with a West London Local Authority to appoint an Interim Corporate Director of Assets & Property.

This is a high-impact leadership role, reporting directly to the Executive Director of Regeneration, Housing & Environment, with responsibility for shaping and delivering a cohesive asset management strategy across a large and diverse property portfolio.

The Role

You will lead the strategic management of the council's corporate and commercial estate, driving performance, value, and long-term sustainability.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead on a comprehensive asset management strategy
  • Leading a significant disposal programme, building on £200m+ of assets already sold
  • Improving performance across facilities management, rent collection, and asset optimisation
  • Ensuring effective governance and oversight of a large and varied property portfolio
  • Driving commercial outcomes and maximising income generation opportunities
  • Providing strong leadership to a large multidisciplinary team, fostering high performance and accountability
