Night Shift Support Worker
Night Duty - Support Worker
Cornwall Park residential care home in Newton Stewart has exciting recruitment opportunity available for contracted night shift support workers
Responsibilities
- Provide support and assistance to individuals with physical or intellectual disabilities
- Assist with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene and meal times.
- Help individuals participate in community activities and social events
- Provide emotional support and companionship
- Maintain accurate records of services provided and any changes in the individual's condition
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the individual's needs are met
Experience
- Good IT skills, due to recording all work on a handheld device.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient demeanour
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and handle challenging behaviours
Your training will be online where you will complete mandatory courses upon starting your role, there will also be training held internally.
