Part Time | Relief

Full UK Driving licence & Access to a car with business use required.

We pay £13.50 per hour plus 45p per mile. 

We pay time and a half on bank holidays.

Job Role

As A CYP support worker, you will provide consistent support to children and young people after school and on the weekends, helping them develop and thrive within their communities. By working with the same individuals each week, you’ll build meaningful relationships with both them and their families, making a lasting impact on their lives. Depending on your availability, you could support one young person a week up to six or seven.

An enhanced DBS will be required for this role.

As a CYP Support Worker in Llanelli, you will provide care and support to Children and young people in Llanelli and the surrounding areas.

You will support children and young people to access community services, promoting learning and development. 

Many of the young people we support have additional learning needs. 

A Full UK driving licence, access to a car and business use is essential for this role.

Children and Young [Employer hidden] Worker shifts

The shift patterns are typically from school pickup or shortly after school until early evening. We also provide care and support on weekends. For contracted staff, we would require at least every other weekend. Additional work is available with adult services during the day if required, and additional hours are available during school holidays.

Training

As a new member of the team, you will take part in our induction programme. Staff will be matched with service users depending on experience, interests and skills.  

You will participate in shadowing shifts to support growing your confidence and development.

Experience is not essential; if you don't have experience, you can still apply. You can give personal experiences as examples and demonstrate how you would support a young person. 

People without experience can also gain experience supporting Children and Young People in our Saturday club in Llanelli.
