Full-time | 45 hours per week | £31,000 per annum

[Employer hidden] is looking for a Spanish Language Teacher to join our specialist trilingual nursery team in Fulham.
At Peques, we provide a unique English-Spanish-Mandarin Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum in a warm, nurturing and multicultural environment. This role is a teaching position focused on planning, delivering and assessing learning in Spanish as part of our early years curriculum. It is not a general nursery practitioner role.
About the role
The successful candidate will:
- plan and deliver high-quality teaching and educational activities in Spanish for children within the EYFS age range
- teach through a structured Spanish-language immersion approach appropriate to children’s age and stage of development
- prepare and implement lesson plans in line with the EYFS framework and the nursery’s curriculum objectives
- assess, monitor and record children’s learning and developmental progress
- prepare and use Spanish-language teaching materials and classroom resources
- support children’s communication, early literacy, numeracy, creativity and understanding of the world through Spanish-medium teaching
- communicate professionally with parents regarding children’s learning and participation in the Spanish-language curriculum
- work in accordance with safeguarding, EYFS, health and safety, and nursery policies and procedures
What we are looking for
We are looking for someone who has:
- a degree-level qualification in Education, Primary Education, Early Childhood Education or a related teaching field
- fluent Spanish language skills, with the ability to teach children fully in Spanish
- experience of planning and delivering structured teaching or classroom-based learning activities for young children
- knowledge of child development and early years learning
- strong communication and teamwork skills
- a clear commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
