Breakfast Chef

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook breakfast menu items to order
• Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all dishes
• Set up and break down kitchen stations for breakfast service
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
• Monitor stock levels and communicate ordering needs
• Follow all health, safety, and food safety regulations
• Work efficiently during busy service periods
• Support menu development and daily specials as required
• Collaborate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house teams

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience working as a Breakfast Chef or similar role
• Strong knowledge of breakfast cookery techniques (egg cookery, griddle work, batch preparation, timing coordination)
• Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and HACCP principles
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure
