FULL DESCRIPTION

Your job will be to provide high quality support, risk assessment, information and advocacy to clients from Black, Asian or Minoritised Communities who have experienced domestic abuse. The role is intended to undertake active engagement work with community organisations and individuals, raising awareness of domestic abuse, BWA services and reducing barriers for survivors who may find it harder to access services. Your role is to empower our clients, keeping the safety of them and their children central to our interventions. he Diverse Communities Outreach Worker role is fully funded by the National Lottery.

For the above vacancy, the ideal candidate will be fluent in another language other than English, representative of our local communities. They will have experience of working in a confidential and safeguarding environment, and have an understanding of domestic abuse and its impact on families. A full driving licence and access to transport is desirable

An enhanced DBS check will be required for the successful candidate for this role.
