FULL DESCRIPTION

An established and growing FMCG supplier to the UK multiple retail sector is seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Manager to manage and grow key retail relationships. The business offers a diverse portfolio of owned brands, exclusive distribution partnerships, and private label capabilities across a broad product range.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage, grow, and retain a portfolio of multiple accounts across – Wellness, Beauty, Skincare, Haircare and more
  • Deliver sales plans covering range, pricing, promotions, space, media, and innovation.
  • Own performance for assigned accounts, ensuring margin targets and profitability are achieved.
  • Identify and develop private label opportunities
  • Analyse market data to create compelling category proposals.
  • Lead customer negotiations on cost price changes, terms, and promotional activity.
  • Ensure operational excellence with accurate forecasting and OTIF delivery.
  • Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and emerging opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM and deliver timely reports to senior management.

Essential Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of account management experience within Beauty, Haircare, Family Health and other key products
  • Strong commercial acumen with account ownership experience.
  • Skilled negotiator with a track record of securing distribution gains and delivering growth.
  • Data-driven, comfortable with Excel, PowerPoint, and retailer data portals.
  • Collaborative team player, able to work closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in both branded and private label products is desirable.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
