Concrete Supervisor

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is seeking an experienced Concrete Supervisor to oversee large-scale concrete pours throughout Scotland. This full-time position involves managing teams, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and managing day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in concrete works, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to understand construction drawings.

We seek an experienced individual to join our team and travel throughout Scotland to oversee large-scale concrete pours. This is a full-time permanent position.

In this role, you will be responsible for supervising teams, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and managing day-to-day operations efficiently and effectively. The successful candidate will be working on sites throughout Scotland and managing a team.

Key Duties

  • Responsible for managing a team of skilled labourers and subcontractors.
  • Managing all aspects of concrete works in accordance with drawings and specifications.
  • Organising plant and equipment for the work.
  • Working to programmes and deadlines.
  • Ensuring health and safety are in place and adhered to.
  • Carrying out quality checks.

Personal Requirements

  • Extensive experience in concrete works.
  • Excellent leadership skills.
  • Takes pride in producing high-quality workmanship.
  • Ability to understand construction drawings.
  • SSSTS/SMSTS required.
  • CSCS required.
  • First Aid at Work is advantageous.
