The role involves preparing the restaurant, providing excellent service, assisting with wine choices, and supporting the team. The role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for guest service, and experience in fine dining.
Head Waiter – Tudor Pass
£26,500 37.5hrs over 4 days
The Tudor Pass is our Michelin starred and 3 AA Rosette award winning restaurant located in The [Employer hidden], in Egham we are seeking to add a Chef de Rang to the new team.
This intimate restaurant is a new chapter in the storied history of its location, named to celebrate the unique interactive service style diners can expect – without the noise of an open kitchen.
Since July 2025, The Tudor Pass has been led by Chef Stefano Di Giosia, formerly of The Fat Duck and KOL. His leadership marks the beginning of an exciting new culinary era for The Tudor Pass. Known for his passion for flavour, precision, and storytelling through food, Stefano crafts inventive tasting menus rooted in seasonality and locality, showcasing the finest ingredients — many grown just steps away in the estate’s own kitchen gardens and orchards.
The Tudor Pass has only 7 tables, with the addition of the private Wine Room, 8 covers, open Wednesday – Saturday for both lunch & dinner. With its own dedicated team of Chefs. the entire focus is on creating memorable award-winning dishes, that amaze and delight our guests.

The Role
You will be working as part of small team of 3 offering guests the very best of service and care.
The restaurant is open to residents and non-residents so caterers for a wide range of discerning clients with many regular patrons. Service for guests covers lunch and dinner Wednesday to Saturday therefore the team has set days off each week. There are also set closure periods to allow for staff holidays.
Main Duties;
- Preparing the Tudor Room for each service
- Laying each table with care and attention to details; cleaning and polishing cutlery and glassware to ensure the tables sparkle immaculately for the guests
- Welcome, meet, greet and seat guests
- Discuss menu items with guests and assist with wine choices
- Deliver outstanding food service across all tasting menu items
- Deliver excellent standards of beverage and wine service
- Coach and support your Commis Waiter/Waitress
- Reacting to guest requests and actioning points from satisfaction checks
- Support the Restaurant Manager to resolve any service issues
- Resetting the restaurant at the end of the shift ready for the next service
- Ensuring work area is clean and tidy before departing
Requirements;
- 4 days, 37.5 hrs per week, Wednesday to Saturday each week, lunch and dinner service.
- Smart appearance, excellent communication skills with a passion for guest service.
- Attention to fine details in set up and service
- Knowledge of food and wines to be able to confidently communicate with guests
- Experience in fine dining or tasting menus would greatly help
