Inclusion Service Manager

As the Inclusion Service Manager, you’ll be at the centre of shaping a brand‑new Inclusion Strategy, overseeing key teams delivering behaviour support and inclusion pathways, and working directly with senior leaders to reduce exclusions and improve outcomes for children and young people. You’ll drive the implementation of the new Inclusion Service, influence system-wide culture change, and build city-wide partnerships that make a real difference.

Your Role as Inclusion Service Manager:

• Lead the transformation of the new Inclusion Service, embedding a strong and sustainable inclusion model.
• Drive a full review of internal inclusion practices to identify strengths, gaps and opportunities.
• Build and lead high‑performing teams across Behaviour Support and Routes to Inclusion.
• Develop a city-wide Inclusion Charter and performance framework.
• Work collaboratively with partners across SEND, Mental Health, Youth Justice and Education to deliver a joined‑up offer.

Your Experience as an Inclusion Service Manager:

• Proven track record of leading services in complex organisations, driving outcomes and continuous improvement.
• Strong leadership capability including motivating teams, empowering decision‑making and supporting wellbeing.
• Experience delivering change programmes.
• Deep understanding of inclusive education, especially in diverse or disadvantaged communities.
• Skilled at building partnerships, managing conflicting agendas and creating shared vision.
