The Role - Senior Consultant
We are looking for experienced and driven individuals to join our Professional Services team in a client-facing role that blends business analysis with hands-on configuration and implementation of our RiskCubed software platform.
You’ll be responsible for gathering and analysing client requirements, delivering configuration and workflow solutions, supporting data management tasks, and helping clients get the best out of our software. The role will also involve working closely with our internal teams (including Development, QA and Support) to ensure client needs are met and product capabilities continue to evolve. You may be asked to lead client presentations, deliver functional training, and provide input into best practices and process improvements.
This is a hybrid role, with a mix of remote work and in-office presence. Occasional travel to client sites may be required depending on project demands.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading or heavily contributing to RiskCubed software implementations, upgrades, and SaaS migrations
- Gathering, documenting, and analysing business and technical requirements
- Designing and implementing system configurations and workflows tailored to client needs
- Supporting data integration and reporting requirements using SQL, SSRS, and Power BI
- Troubleshooting issues and working with internal teams to resolve technical and functional queries
- Testing new releases, patches and configurations
- Creating and maintaining client-facing documentation, including process guides and training materials
- Participating in client meetings, demos and training workshops
- Supporting and mentoring junior consultants
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the team
Qualifications & Skills
- 8+ years of experience with a software vendor, ideally within credit risk, energy, or commodities.
- Graduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Economics)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrable experience with data analysis and system configuration
- Proficiency with SQL and BI/reporting tools (e.g. SSRS, Power BI)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple workstreams
- Collaborative team player with an interest in improving internal processes and mentoring others
Preferred Experience
- Prior consulting or professional services experience within a software vendor.
- Previous industry experience in energy, commodities, financial services or credit risk.
- Prior experience in client-facing environment and stakeholder management.
- Hands-on involvement in credit risk and/or collateral management implementations
- Experience with risk management systems or software product implementations
- Strong working knowledge of technical tools and concepts including SQL Server, SSRS, SSAS, Power BI
- Workflow configuration, ETL processes, data interfacing
- Microsoft stack (PowerShell, Windows OS)
- Experience delivering training or knowledge sharing sessions to clients or colleagues
