FP&A Lead

Our client a global organisation based in the city 3 days per week is seeking a finance professional to join its central FP&A function. This is a high-impact role working closely with executive leadership to deliver insightful financial analysis, drive business intelligence capability, and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver accurate and timely consolidated reporting, including flash reporting, forecasts, and annual budgeting.
  • Produce high-quality management information for executive and board-level decision making.
  • Build strong relationships across finance and operational teams to ensure effective information flow and collaboration.
  • Develop enhanced reporting and analytics to identify key business drivers, trends, and performance opportunities.
  • Support the evolution of business intelligence and data utilisation across the group.
  • Contribute to forecasting and long-term planning processes, driving continuous improvement in FP&A practices.
  • Provide financial modelling and analytical support for business development initiatives and M&A activity.
  • Assist senior finance leadership with strategic and ad-hoc analysis.

Candidate Profile

  • Professionally qualified accountant ideally ACA or CIMA.
  • Previous group reporting, consolidations exposure in a global business.
  • We are looking for excellence only for this role, you will have proven development within one organisation demonstrating your capability to work hard to meet personal goals
  • Demonstrated commercial awareness within large, complex matrix organisations.
  • Strong analytical capability with experience handling large datasets and translating them into clear business insights.
  • Excellent written and presentation skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with finance systems.
