Lead FP&A Analyst

We are seeking a commercially focused FP&A Lead to drive high-quality financial planning, analysis, and insight across a key Business Unit within a global organisation. This is a senior, high-impact role responsible for delivering robust forecasting, long-term planning, and performance reporting to support executive decision-making and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Business Unit FP&A, delivering accurate forecasting, budgeting, and long-term strategic planning
Provide clear, data-driven insights to senior leadership and Board-level stakeholders
Develop granular performance reporting across customers, operations, and geographies, identifying trends and actionable opportunities
Partner cross-functionally to strengthen financial visibility, challenge performance, and drive continuous improvement
Enhance business intelligence capability in collaboration with Data & Analytics teams
Support business development initiatives, pricing strategy, efficiency programmes, and M&A activity through robust financial modelling
Drive consistency and best practice across FP&A processes, including rolling forecasts and KPI development

Candidate Profile

Professionally qualified accountant
Strong commercial acumen gained within large, complex organisations
Advanced analytical capability with experience handling large datasets
Excellent presentation and stakeholder engagement skills
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and BI tools (e.g., Power BI)
