Your role As Our Multi Skilled Groundworker:

• Deliver high quality multiskilled repairs and maintenance, managing your own time and workload effectively
• Work independently, coordinating with planners, supervisors and managers when needed
• Carry out fencing and gate repairs plus a range of other trade tasks (patch plastering, tiling and minor plumbing)
• Complete groundwork duties including relaying flags, preparing and laying concrete paths/ ramps and resolving groundwork defects
• Install concrete footings, renew concrete floors, relay paving stones, repoint brickwork and carry out damp proofing work
• Undertake a variety of programmed and reactive maintenance tasks within domestic properties
• Work safely at heights, in confined spaces and in changing site conditions
• Contribute to performance targets by working efficiently and to required standards

What We Need from You.

• Completed a recognised Apprenticeship and hold a relevant NVQ Level 2/3 qualification in groundworks
• GCSE or equivalent standard in Maths and English
• Recognised qualification in plumbing/ plastering or other building trade or trades
• Fully competent in all aspects of the joinery trade discipline
• Experience carrying out maintenance work in domestic and commercial properties, including high rise buildings, covering general repairs and refurbishment tasks
• Strong background in joinery with the ability to work safety and effectively in confined spaces
• Full UK driving license required to operate grounds maintenance machinery and drive a company vehicle

Desirable Requirements

• CSCS Card
• Asbestos Awareness Certification
