Sales Manager - Full Time

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Sales Manager who is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on sales performer. In this role, you will not only drive new business through outbound and inbound sales efforts but also collaborate closely with the leadership team to refine and implement sales strategies that align with our company’s goals. This is a remote position based in the UK, offering flexibility with the opportunity to work alongside a passionate, high-performing team.

What will you be doing?

If you’re successfully hired for this role, you will be taking up the following responsibilities among others:

Sales execution

  • Conducting outbound sales outreach (cold calls, emails, LinkedIn) to potential clients, primarily supported accommodations and care homes, with a focus on generating leads and closing deals.
  • Managing sales cycles from start to finish, including initial contact, product demos, negotiations, and closing.
  • Building and nurturing long-term relationships with key accounts and understanding their unique needs.
  • Collaborating with customer success to ensure smooth transitions from sales to onboarding.

Sales Strategy & Operations

  • Partnering with the leadership team to develop and implement sales strategies, with a strong emphasis on growth, lead generation, and market penetration.
  • Analysing sales data and industry trends to identify new opportunities and potential growth areas.
  • Creating and refining sales processes, ensuring alignment with business goals and enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Regularly reporting on sales performance and providing insights to improve sales efforts and strategies.

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Actively participating in team meetings, providing feedback, and offering insights for the continuous improvement of the sales process.
  • Mentoring and supporting junior sales team members, offering advice on strategy, sales techniques, and best practices.
  • Providing input on the design of marketing and sales materials, ensuring they are optimised for customer acquisition.
  • Supporting the development of sales enablement tools to streamline outreach and closing efforts.

What you’ll need to bring to the table?

  • Strong understanding of sales strategy and experience working on both sales execution and sales planning.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and closing sales cycles from lead generation to post-sale.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver product demos and negotiate effectively.
  • Ability to analyse data and use it to inform sales strategy and performance. Comfortable with CRM tools (such as HubSpot, Zoho etc.), and experience managing a sales pipeline.
  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • UK-based with the ability to work remotely and manage time effectively.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in the social care, care home or supported accommodation sector is a plus but not an essential criteria
  • A degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is beneficial.
  • Ability to work with sales enablement tools and CRM systems for better automation and efficiency.
  • Experience with sales training or team leadership is a bonus.

Compensation

GBP 30,000 Per Annum + Commission + ESOPS

Experience

3+ years of experience in a B2B sales environment, ideally in SaaS.
