FULL DESCRIPTION
[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is seeking a Baby Room Leader with experience in early years education, specifically with babies from 0 to 24 months. Responsibilities include leading a team, building relationships with families, monitoring progress, planning activities, and ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed. The role is full-time with a salary between £29,000 and £34,000, offering various benefits.
Key roles and responsibilities of the Baby Room Leader
- Lead of team of 5 practitioners
- Be a ‘key person’ to a small group of babies (from 3 to 24 months old) and build positive relationships with their families
- Monitor babies’ progress to ensure they reach their developmental targets
- Plan and create activities which keep babies engaged throughout the day
- Enable babies to become more independent
- Help prepare babies for the transition into ther Toddler Room (24 to 36 months)
- Protect and promote the health and well-being of all children
- Ensure that safeguarding procedures are followed
- Promote positive relationships in the early years setting
- Develop good relationship with parents
- Show ability to report on their growth and progress
Key Requirements:
- Hold a full and relevant early years and childcare qualification of Level 3 (in Childcare, Early Childhood)
- Minimum 2 year’ experience of working in a Baby Room of a nursery/early years setting
- Good knowledge of the EYFS
- Willing to progress in terms of leadership within the company
Employment : Full-time
Number of working hours : 36 to 40 per week
Annual salary: between £29 and £34K depending on nb of hours and experience
