Graduate/Assistant Building Surveyor
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graduate or Assistant Building Surveyor to join a market-leading property consultancy in their Southampton office. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and highly regarded team, working across a broad mix of commercial and residential instructions while receiving excellent training, mentoring and structured APC support (if required).
Role & Responsibilities of the Graduate / Building Surveyor:
- Supporting contract administration on refurbishment and new build projects
- Assisting with planned maintenance programmes
- Undertaking due diligence and condition surveys
- Supporting dilapidations matters
- Assisting with development monitoring instructions
- Carrying out reinstatement cost assessments
- Involvement in party wall matters
- Working closely with senior colleagues across varied instructions
Skills & Experience of the Graduate / Building Surveyor:
- Degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline
- Either working towards APC or recently qualified (MRICS)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Keen to develop technical expertise across professional and project work
- Motivated, proactive and client-focused approach
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Salary & Benefits:
- Up to £35k base (depending on experience)
