FULL DESCRIPTION
[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is seeking a Project Manager / Senior Project Manager to join a building surveying consultancy in Southampton. The role involves leading projects across various sectors, managing teams, and ensuring successful delivery, with a salary range of £60,000 – £70,000.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Lead project delivery from inception to completion across varied sectors – typically up to £20m in value
- Manage construction programmes, consultants, and contractors to ensure successful delivery.
- Prepare and oversee project documentation, contracts and client correspondence.
- Act as primary client contact, ensuring quality service and effective communication throughout.
- Monitor project budgets, risk registers, change control and reporting.
- Support business development by identifying opportunities and contributing to proposals.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience in construction project management (consultancy or client-side).
- Strong contract knowledge (JCT / NEC contracts) and project administration experience.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead project teams and manage multiple workstreams effectively.
- Professional qualification (RICS / CIOB / APM) beneficial.
- Good commercial awareness, problem-solving skills and proactive mindset.
