An excellent opportunity has come available for an Intermediate / Project Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established and growing property and construction consultancy, to be based out of either their Bournemouth or Woking office, with hybrid working.
Role & Responsibilities of the Intermediate / Project Quantity Surveyor:
- Undertaking feasibility studies and preparing cost plans - Compiling tender enquiries and managing tender processes - Tender analysis and contract negotiations - Risk and value management assessments - Contract administration during the construction phase - Valuing applications for payment and preparing cost reports - Final account negotiation and project close-out - Fund monitoring and chairing meetings where required
Skills & Experience of the Intermediate / Project Quantity Surveyor:
- Assistant QS looking for the next step, or an Intermediate / Project QS - Degree educated (or equivalent), not necessarily in Quantity Surveying - Good understanding of construction methodologies and processes - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines - Consultancy or client-side experience preferred
Salary & Benefits:
