FULL DESCRIPTION
As DOA expands its presence in the Personal Lines market, the Product Analyst role is integral in supporting the smooth operation, compliance and performance of our delegated authority and broker‑partner relationships. This is a broad and evolving role positioned between operations, product, MI and partner support. The Product Analyst supports the performance, delivery and development of personal lines products, with particular focus on travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse quote, sale and product performance data to identify trends, risks and commercial opportunities.
- Support the ongoing performance and development of personal lines products, ensuring enhancements align with commercial objectives and customer needs.
- Act as a key link between operations and the wider personal lines function, providing product subject‑matter expertise to support the evolution of propositions and the development of new offerings in collaboration with underwriting, operations and claims.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with brokers, networks, insurers and other key partners to support long‑term growth and service excellence.
- Manage broker and partner queries, escalations and requests, ensuring timely and high-quality responses.
- Highlight areas where opportunities can be maximised or where product support or customer journeys can be improved.
- Support MI production and delivery to brokers and underwriting partners, ensuring accuracy and insight-driven reporting.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure aligned objectives, effective communication and delivery of shared business goals.
- Support marketing and communication activity that enhances broker engagement, strengthens brand presence and improves product visibility.
- Gather stakeholder feedback through broker or customer surveys to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist with claims and service escalations where required to support operational effectiveness and customer outcomes.
- Contribute to process reviews and help improve operational efficiency across the personal lines function.
- Support the creation and maintenance of process documentation, including responsibilities, workflows and updates.
- Help build a more structured and scalable product support framework as the function grows.
- Support invoicing and general administrative tasks within the team to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations.
- Carry out additional duties that support the effective running of the personal lines function, as reasonably required.

Experience & Knowledge
- Degree-level or relevant experience.
- Strong commercial awareness with an understanding of underwriting performance.
- Confident analysing data, working with spreadsheets and producing actionable insight.
- Experience in travel insurance, personal lines, product support, claims or operations analysis is highly beneficial.
- Comfortable handling MI, escalations and working with brokers, partners or insurers.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills.
- Clear communicator, able to present information effectively to senior audiences.
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with a can-do attitude.
- Familiarity with delegated authority products, digital journeys or insurance operations is advantageous.
- Suited to someone looking to step into a more commercial, product-focused role.
- Ideally experience within a regulated financial services environment.
