ABOUT THE ROLE

Summary

  • Develop a web content strategy that encompasses the goals of the company and aligns with the company's image
  • Create content that provides information or showcases the products or services [Employer hidden] offers.
  • Develop related content for multiple platforms, such as websites, email marketing, social media, videos, and blogs

Responsibilities

  • Research industry-related topics and identify gaps in our content
  • Write copies using SEO principles to maximize reach and increase visibility.
  • Monitor metrics related to our content, such as web traffic and conversion rates.
  • Liaise with designers to enrich text with visual aids, like images and charts
  • Edit and proofread all companies content as needed.
  • Source images and other content as needed.
  • Collaborate with Tech and product teams during product release and marketing projects.
  • Manage the content production for the company's websites and campaigns
  • Maintain a content marketing board that schedules all aspects of the creation and delivery of content throughout the year
  • Stay abreast of current best practices in the industry and review competitor websites to compare their activities with ours

Must have Qualifications

  • BSc in English, Marketing, Communications, Journalism or relevant field
  • Impeccable grasp of the English language, including idioms and current trends in slang and expressions
  • Passionate about writing with at least 5 years of agency experience or in a similar role
  • SEO Expertise - write creative copies that includes effective keyword placement, schemas and best practice SEO principles.
  • Experience with social media engagement strategies and best practices
  • Strong skills in creating informational content that targets a specific audience and meets our objectives

Nice-to-have Qualifications

  • Experience writing for B2B, SaaS, Entrepreneurship, Tax & Accounting
  • Experience working in a reputable marketing/ advertising agency
  • Native English speaker

  • Ability to work independently with little or no daily supervision
