SALARY RANGE
Competitive £50,000 to £65,000 per year + benefits depending on:

About the role
Summary
Junior to Mid DevOps Engineer - full-time - hybrid - 2-3 years commercial experience - Visa sponsorship available
- Junior to Mid DevOps Engineer
- Design & scale our next gen infrastructure supporting product and user growth
- Maintain & improve current infrastructure
Responsibilities
- Monitor and improve current AWS & on-premise infrastructure
- Report directly to the CTO
- Deploy and maintain single or multi-tenant SaaS applications
- Work alongside team of Agile developers using JIRA, Confluence and other Atlassian suite products
- Develop / maintain documentation on operational, configuration, or other procedures
- Troubleshoot and resolve network, automation pipelines, and infrastructure issues
Technical Skills
Must have a minimum of 2 years experience with the following:
- Hands-on AWS experience (vpc, ec2, elb, s3, cloud watch)
- Strong systems administration expertise (Docker, Ubuntu)
- Knowledge of Monitoring and Observability Tools (New Relic)
- Experience with coding or scripting language (Python or other)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins)
- Experience with SCM tools (Git)
- Experience with application and web servers (Express, Nginx, Apache HTTP server)
- Experience with test automation
- Experience with Docker container management
- Experience with the full software development lifecycle and delivery using Agile best practices
Nice to have (at least a few or equivalent):
- Knowledge of database design, sharding, replication, scaling and administration (MongoDB, Redis)
- Knowledge of IP networking, VPN's , load balancing and firewalls
- Experience with MicroServices Architecture
