ABOUT THE ROLE

POSITION SUMMARY

As a Data Analyst at [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk], you will provide data driven insights and recommendations to management with the goal of improving our products, driving sales growth, spotting market opportunities and assist in our development strategy.

You will apply your expertise in quantitative analysis, experimentation and data mining to develop scaled insights solutions to drive business performance and accelerate product success.

RESPONSABILITY

  • Evaluate, define, monitor and advise on Business, Finance, Marketing and Product KPIs and metrics along with different teams
  • Conduct in-depth investigations leveraging large and complex data sets
  • Perform data analysis and create insightful dashboards, memos & presentations that summarise the data
  • Create and maintain data documentation both for an internal, technical audience and for partner user teams
  • Responsible for managing data requests from business stakeholders
  • Conduct in-depth investigations/audit as required, leveraging large and complex data sets

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering, Maths, Statistics, Economics, or other STEM/quantitative field
  • 3+ years experience doing quantitative analysis
  • 3+ years of SQL experience
  • 3+ Experience working with Business Insights and data visualisation tools like Tableau,
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Python), and/or statistical/mathematical software (e.g. R)
  • Expertise with spreadsheet-based tools like Excel
  • Strong communicator: experience using data for storytelling and presenting complex research findings to both technical and non-technical audiences

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION

  • Masters or Ph.D. Degree in a quantitative field
  • Experience using Mongo DB, Robo3T
  • 4+ years of experience in a highly analytical environment (e.g. management consulting, corporate analytics, strategy and operations, or other roles requiring a blend of analytical, strategic, and cross-functional work)
  • Strong analytical skills and an ability to synthesize information across a broad ecosystem to diagnose problems and devise solutions
  • Comfortable with ambiguity; able to thrive with minimal oversight and process, while keeping leadership informed on progress against deadlines
  • Willing to work in a SaaS start up environment
