Salary:£20,000 per annum 

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is seeking ISM Tutors to support the admissions process for Business programmes. The role involves conducting online Intention to Study Meetings (ISMs) with applicants entering through non-standard routes, assessing their academic readiness, motivation, and suitability for higher-level study.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct structured online ISMs for Business applicants.
  • Assess academic/professional backgrounds, subject knowledge, and preparedness.
  • Explore applicants’ motivation, learning approaches, and career goals.
  • Provide evidence-based recommendations and complete ISM reports promptly.
  • Identify and communicate any support needs.
  • Ensure compliance with ISM procedures, academic standards, and GDPR.
  • Contribute to training, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Programme Leaders and the Dean on admissions and assessment criteria.

About You

  • Degree in Business, Management, or related field (essential).
  • HE teaching experience and strong understanding of academic standards.
  • Excellent communication, judgement, and organisational skills.
  • Confident using Microsoft Teams and maintaining digital records.
  • Sensitive to diverse applicant backgrounds.
  • Desirable: experience with structured interviews, UK HE admissions, and flexible availability.
