FULL DESCRIPTION
Operations Investment Analyst
This is a great opportunity to join a well-established single-family and investment office based in Central London. Our client is looking for a mid-level operations and investment professional who will view this opportunity as a long-term position and will add value to strengthen their operational processes within an international multi-asset investment team.
Responsibilities
- Assist with portfolio monitoring activities such as performance tracking, risk reporting, reconciliation, and portfolio reviews.
- Actively support investment team processes, ensuring timely completion of reporting, documentation, and workflow management.
- Liaise with custodians, fund administrators and other external service providers to ensure accurate settlement, reporting, and data integrity.
- Support the operational execution of investment activities across public and private markets, including trade support, fund subscriptions and redemptions, capital call processing, and cash flow coordination.
- Prepare high-quality reports, dashboards, and presentations for the client, the investment committee, and internal stakeholders.
- Provide analytical support on investment research and due diligence projects as needed.
- Collaborate with the team to identify operational efficiencies, improve internal controls, and enhance investment process infrastructure.
- Support compliance-related tasks and ensure proper recordkeeping across investment documentation and portfolios.
Key skills
- Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in investment operations, portfolio support, asset management, or a related financial role.
- Degree in finance, economics, accounting or a related numerical discipline.
- Fluency in English.
- Fluency in Russian is advantageous.
- Strong Excel and financial analysis skills, with a solid understanding of accounting principles and P&L reporting.
- Familiarity with investment platforms and data providers such as Addepar and Bloomberg is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver accurate work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, particularly in operational execution and reporting processes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across internal teams and external service providers.
- Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute to the continuous improvement of investment processes.
