FULL DESCRIPTION

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] LIMITED is seeking RGN nurses for morning and night shifts, as well as two experienced RGN nurses for a nursing home environment. Responsibilities include care planning, patient assessment, and shift management. Hourly pay ranges from £11.50 to £14.50, with a temporary to permanent duration.

  • From 15th May for two weeks we would require one RGN nurse every day to cover our morning shift (6.30am to 2.30pm) or one RGN nurse to cover three night shifts in a week (6.30 pm- 6.30 am). The night shifts can be worked any three days of the week. We are also looking to recruit two RGN nurses who have at least three years post-qualification experience and who have worked in a nursing home environment. We would also like people who have also taken responsibility for managing shifts. We will be offering from £11.50/hour- £14.50/ hour depending on experience and what the applicants are able to bring to the table. This contract would be for 72 hours over two weeks. They will be required to work shifts (days/afternoons/nights) including weekends.
  • To be the nurse in charge when on duty
  • To facilitate a high standard of care through written care plans for the service users as directed by the Manager
  • To plan, assess, implement and evaluate the care given to theservice users
  • To ensure new service users are orientated into their surroundings and introduced to service users and staff, and the appropriate documentation is completed on time.
  • To delegate work to all care staff and monitor the care given inconjunction with senior carers
  • To contribute to the personal needs of the individual service user and ensure they enjoy a good quality of life by ensuring a friendly caring environment
  • To ensure that service users retain their dignity, choice and individuality
  • To help induct, train and supervise colleagues and junior members of staff in all aspects of their work at the Home
  • To provide care for the terminally ill service user and perform last offices
  • To be competent in the specific nursing skills required of your position and training
  • To have knowledge of and the use of any equipment within the Home. To ensure any equipment used is in a good working order and available for use.
  • To be able to work as a team under the supervision of the Manager
  • To provide and maintain the standard of care to our service users as required by Care Standards, NMC code of professional conduct and the CSSIW
