Supply Chain Administrator

East Anglia - Norwich / Thetford or Ipswich - Permanent - Full Time

Background

We are a respected regional contractor delivering high quality construction projects across the region. To support our Management team we are seeking a highly organised Supply Chain Administrator to support our compliance, performance, and supplier relationship processes.

The Supply Chain Administrator will play an essential role in maintaining a compliant, capable, and high performing supply chain. Working closely with construction managers, commercial teams, and suppliers, you will ensure that all subcontractors and suppliers meet our standards for competency, safety, quality, and certification and compile reports for the Management team on the performance of our supply chain, both subcontractors and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring all suppliers and subcontractors are compliant with competency, capability, and accreditation requirements.
  • Maintaining an up to date database of insurance documents, quality and safety certifications, and compliance records.
  • Managing rebate agreements and ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Consolidating results from end of contract reviews and compiling performance reports.
  • Providing structured feedback to supply chain partners on performance, quality, and improvement areas.
  • Supporting construction managers with supply chain engagement, performance queries, and relationships.
  • Assisting with the onboarding and approval process for new suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Helping maintain accurate records of supply chain data, documentation, and performance metrics.
  • Supporting continuous improvement projects within the supply chain and procurement functions.

Key Skills & Knowledge

  • Experience in supply chain, procurement, compliance, or construction administration (construction sector preferred).
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret and track certifications, insurance documents, and compliance records.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP or supply chain management systems is advantageous.
  • A proactive, positive attitude with a willingness to support wider business functions.
