FULL DESCRIPTION
Critical Path Project Manager
What you’ll do:
- Ensure there is a clear and achievable critical path and activity workflow for all new product launches (and related non-Product activities) on the launch calendar of [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] brands.
- Organise and facilitate cross functional meetings to ensure that required dates are met to deliver ‘fast beauty’ to our end customers – assessing impact on other functions and ensuring all required approvals are in place.
- Work with all relevant functions to ensure operational alignment including Product Development, Compliance, Design, Sales, Merchandising, Global Content, Retail Marketing and Operations to ensure a common understanding of priorities and milestones, that timelines are maintained and that each team is held accountable for delivery.
- Build a “centre of excellence” in relation to understanding end-to-end processes and their inter-connectedness across [Employer hidden], our supply chain and international customer base
- Monitor the flow and progress of projects via regular meetings, using appropriate and comprehensive escalation process and risk assessment reporting to ensure teams and senior management have full visibility of project status and risks and that they are actively engaged so that projects hit deadlines
- Monitor and report the progress and performance against the critical path, keeping key stakeholders informed at all times
- Manage, mitigate and communicate any potential risks that may occur and propose creative solutions to resolve any issues
- Proactively propose creative solutions in order to overcome obstacles that arise.
- Actively engage with all internal teams to ensure timings work across the breadth of our customer base
- Support organisational needs from other functions where project management skills are required
- Identify and facilitate process improvements as appropriate
- To perform other related duties as assigned or requested
What you’ll have:
- Proven experience of Project Management or experience managing multiple projects, ideally within a complex and fast-moving retail brand environment (cosmetics / toiletries industry strongly preferred)
- Cross-functional and/or matrix team management, negotiation, co-ordination and facilitation experience and exposure to a demanding and rapidly changing environment and senior stakeholder base.
- Substantial experience working in a brand and/or retail environment
- Strong working knowledge of project and workflow concepts and practices.
- Experience of risk evaluation techniques.
