FULL DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Technologist to support product quality and safety by ensuring all Revolution products remain in compliance with all necessary regulations as well as group policies and procedures. This role will focus largely on packaging regulations so experience in that area is essential, and you’ll also need to have great attention to detail, great customer service skills and be happy multitasking and prioritising your workload as necessary.

What you’ll do:

  • Ensure compliance to new and existing UK & International packaging waste and sorting regulations
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of product specifications
  • Provide support to the Product and Supplier Development teams with packaging development; guiding material selection to ensure cost effective packaging waste compliance
  • Inspecting, creating, and maintaining quality checks for skincare and cosmetic products including primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging
  • Liaise with external suppliers to ensure compliance with EU & UK REACH
  • Create, obtain and maintain records to show compliance to EU & UK REACH for all substances used in Revolution products
  • Assist in Quality Control and Assurance activities to ensure compliance with GMP, testing, specifications and Policies
  • Investigate incidents that have resulted in packaging non-conformance or compliance failures.
  • Review corrective and preventative actions with suppliers
  • Provide support to customer service teams in response to customer complaints or queries

What you’ll have:

  • Previous experience in a related role, ideally within the cosmetics industry
  • Experience working with packaging regulations is essential; UK & EU REACH experience is desirable
  • Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft applications, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Understanding of the fundamentals of global packaging regulations related to our industry including EPR & PPT.
  • Super attention to detail, ability to prioritise and multitask.
  • Fantastic communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
