Early morning shifts | Outdoor role

About the Role

We’re looking for a reliable, motivated Morning Operations Supervisor to lead our opening team and ensure Sidcup Family Golf is fully prepared for guests each day.

You’ll take responsibility for the site during early hours, leading a hands-on team to complete essential tasks such as ball collection, restocking, equipment checks, and general site preparation — ensuring we are ready to open by 9:00am, seven days a week.

There is also optional potential for additional hours supporting the maintenance team, depending on experience and business needs.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading from the front, working outdoors, and taking pride in maintaining high standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate the early morning team to complete daily opening tasks
  • Allocate and support duties including ball collection, machine restocking, minor landscaping, and site checks
  • Ensure all health & safety procedures are followed at all times
  • Identify, fix, or report maintenance and safety issues promptly
  • Support staff training, inductions, and ongoing development
  • Prepare draft rotas for management review
  • Ensure all checks and records are completed in line with company procedures
  • Work closely with operations and maintenance teams to deliver a smooth guest experience
  • Provide maintenance support where required, depending on experience

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or team-leading role (leisure, operations, or maintenance preferred)
  • Confident communicator with the ability to guide and support a team
  • Organised, proactive, and reliable with strong attention to detail
  • Physically fit and comfortable with outdoor, hands-on work
  • A positive, “can-do” attitude and strong team focus

Qualifications & Checks

  • Good GCSE-level education
  • Willingness to complete an Enhanced DBS check
