FULL DESCRIPTION
[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is seeking a Class 2 Hiab Driver to carry out multi-drop deliveries, ensuring safe and timely transport of goods. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, completing daily checks, and providing excellent customer service. Requirements include HIAB and grab experience, a forklift certificate, and a clean driving license.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out multi-drop deliveries in a time and safe manner.
- Collection of goods.
- Loading and Unloading of lorry (Manual handling where required).
- Ensure with the loader that the load is correct and safe.
- Complete daily check sheets and ensure truck is safe and legal.
- Comply with drivers’ hours and the Road Transport Directive Legislation.
- Ensure that on arrival to site the delivery is safe to make and follow site guidance.
- Providing excellent customer service at all times.
- Assist in yard as and when required.
Requirements of the role:
- Previous HIAB and grab experience is essential (previous builders merchants experience preferred).
- Forklift Certificate.
- Customer focused with a polite friendly manner.
- Good communication skills.
- Hard-working.
- Team player.
- Clean Driving licence is essential.
