The role involves driving curtain side trailers, working nights on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, and delivering customer products throughout the UK and Europe. HGV 1 Tanker Driver – Bromborough
4 on 4 off Nights
Curtain Side Trailers
- Full time permanent
- 4 on 4 off Nights
- Based at our Bromborough depot
- Curtain Side Trailers
- Start times 1700-1800
- Rate of pay: £17.52ph
- Weekly pay
- Microlise bonus – paid monthly
The role of an [Employer hidden] Class1 Driver is to safely and efficiently, deliver customer products using curtain side trailers throughout the UK and into Europe if required.
Duties will include:
- Keeping your vehicle in clean condition
- Working at heights
- Using your digital hand-held device to record all circle checks and deliveries
- Following company procedures in accordance with strict industry guidelines
- Involves connecting and disconnecting hoses for loading and unloading.
- Requires climbing onto tanks to check hatches and seals.
- Manual handling of equipment such as couplings, valves, and hoses.
Experience
- Hold a full LGV C+E (Class 1) licence (no more than 6 penalty points)
- Must hold a valid and up to date DCPC Card
- Can safely operate within a fall arrest system of up to 140kgs
