[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] are seeking a Dynamic Engineering Surveyor to join us delivering the Earthworks for G2S between Southam & Greatworth near Banbury, Oxfordshire, part of the HS2 Project Delivery. This position requires strong technical expertise, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with project teams in a fast-paced site environment.

▸KEY RESPONSIBILITES

Collect Survey field data, process and issue deliverables in agreed formats

Ensure Site tolerances are achieved for all operations

Carry out QA on survey instruments

Produce as-builts drawings and records in survey specific software

Liaise with senior surveyors, Senior management, and Engineers to ensure all information is correct.

Assist Senior Surveyor with monthly reports

Setting out works accurately using GPS or Total station

QA on GPS plant (Excavators/Dozers)

Maintaining instrument register

▸Qualifications And Capabilities

Previous experience working in a similar role – Earthworks experience preferred

Proficient in IT / Survey applications (e.g. LSS, Trimble business centre, Trimble works manager, Propeller, AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel)

Experience using Topcon and Trimble equipment

Strong focus on Health and Safety

Land surveying / Civil engineering background

Establishing Control points

An eagerness to learn new technologies and methods

Following qualifications are desirable but not essential:

Member of the ICES or similar

GVC Drone pilot

First Aid

SMSTS

Hold a valid UK driving licence ( Essential )
