Care Administrator

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is seeking a Care Administrator for their Nottingham office. Responsibilities include maintaining client relationships, ensuring compliance, answering calls, and supporting office administration. The role requires IT skills, a driving license, and offers benefits like training and an Employee Assistance Program.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and grow relationships with clients, families, and care staff
  • Ensure compliance procedures are followed to keep candidates safe to work
  • Chase outstanding paperwork or references
  • Complete annual file checks and update records as needed
  • Answer incoming office calls and handle calls for the Care Manager in their absence
  • Support with general office administration tasks
  • You will be providing support to our managers and care teams, assisting in daily office needs, and managing our company’s general administrative activities. Preparing reports and maintaining appropriate filing systems.
  • You will support with planning of scheduling ensuring consistency to provide continuity of care.
  • You will ensure all clients are safeguarded against the risk of abuse and respond appropriately to any allegations.
  • You will liaise with external stakeholders such as next of kin, GPs, nurses and physiotherapists - prioritising contact where the wellbeing of the client is being considered.
  • You will document any care staff absence using our electronic rostering system, and be part of the on-call rota system - covering weekends and evenings where required.

Requirements

  • A valid driving licence and own vehicle is required for this job.
  • The ideal candidate should have an excellent level of IT knowledge, in particular MS Office skills; and Care Management systems.
  • Previous care experience and familiarity within the healthcare care industry is an advantage, but full training will be provided.
  • The ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues, clients and their families.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Freelance

Pay: £12.21-£12.55 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
