FULL DESCRIPTION
We are now seeking a Class 1 Delivery Driver to join our team in Pocklington on a fixed-term contract of at least 6 months. This is a full-time role offering a varied and hands-on position within a busy, supportive depot environment, particularly during our peak seasonal period.
What you’ll do:
- Deliver agricultural products to farms, rural locations and [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] depots.
- Carry out deliveries using Class 1 vehicles.
- Assist with picking, loading and unloading orders, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Handle goods safely and in line with company procedures and compliance requirements.
- Maintain vehicles to a high standard and report any defects promptly.
- Support colleagues within the depot when required, promoting a safe and positive working environment.
What you’ll bring:
- A valid C1 driving licence.
- A current ADR licence (or willingness to obtain one).
- A flexible, proactive approach with a strong team ethic.
- Good customer service and communication skills.
- Willingness to undertake manual handling and work in a physically active role.
