Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for leading teams and delivering exceptional customer experiences? We're looking for an inspiring Desk-Based Account Manager Team Leader to take charge of a high-performing team of 4 agents in our busy Gravesend office.
The Role
As Team Leader, you'll oversee the daily operations of a team of Desk-Based Account Managers, ensuring they deliver outstanding service while achieving ambitious sales targets. You'll coach, motivate, and develop your team, while also contributing to wider commercial strategies including market insights and product development.
What You'll Be Doing
- Inspire, coach, and support a team to exceed sales and customer satisfaction goals
- Conduct regular one-to-ones, providing feedback and identifying development opportunities
- Monitor performance, celebrate success, and drive continuous improvement
- Create a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture
- Oversee key customer accounts, ensuring strong relationships and repeat business
- Support the team in converting enquiries into orders and maximising every opportunity
- Encourage upselling and cross-selling to grow accounts
- Work closely with field sales teams to deliver a seamless customer experience
- Ensure accurate CRM management and reporting
- Support outbound campaigns aligned with marketing and product initiatives
- Share valuable customer and market insights to influence new product development
- Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
- Collaborate with marketing to maximise campaign effectiveness
- Act as a key link between sales and internal departments such as logistics, production, and finance
- Contribute to sales reviews and strategic planning
- Drive improvements that enhance both efficiency and customer experience
