Quantity Surveyor

Specialist Contractor | Office-Based (Sidcup) | Immediate Start | Perm or Freelance

A growing specialist contractor is looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor on either a permanent or freelance basis due to an immediate requirement within the team. This is an office-based role within a business delivering a mix of refurbishment, compliance, and specialist works packages across London and the South East.

The Business

• Specialist contractor delivering works packages and direct client projects across residential, commercial and public sector environments
Demolition, strip-out, asbestos removal, and refurbishment works
• Operates across frameworks and negotiated projects, with repeat business and ongoing workstreams
• Close-knit, hands-on team — practical, delivery-focused culture

The Role

• Supporting and managing the commercial function across multiple live projects / workstreams
• Procurement and management of subcontractors and supply chain
• Assisting with / running CVRs, valuations and cost reporting
• Managing variations, change control, and supporting final accounts
• Working closely with Directors and operational teams in a fast-paced environment

• Solid Quantity Surveyor with contractor or subcontractor experience
• Background not overly important — open to a range of project types
• Longevity in previous roles viewed favourably
• Someone reliable, hands-on and commercially aware
• Comfortable working in an office-based role within a small team
