Senior Quantity Surveyor
A heritage and refurbishment contractor are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. This is a great opportunity for a commercially driven QS who enjoys managing projects, working closely with site teams, and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and profitably. You’ll play a key role in the commercial management of projects from procurement through to final account.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the commercial aspects of projects from start to completion
- Cost planning, procurement and subcontractor management
- Managing variations, valuations and final accounts
- Monitoring project costs and ensuring strong commercial performance
- Working closely with project managers, clients and subcontractors
What They Are Looking For
- Experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within construction
- Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- RICS or similar professional qualification desirable
