FULL DESCRIPTION

Create compelling visual content, primarily filmed media, that supports every area of [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk]’s mission. Produce videos that engage young people and key stakeholders, communicating effectively with supporters, youth leaders, and wider audiences. Inspire and collaborate with national teams to plan, film, and edit meaningful video content that carries impact and prompts action.

Main Duties:

  • Lead and manage video production for multiple simultaneous short-film projects, overseeing the full workflow from filming to delivering polished final assets on time.
  • Plan and organise video shoots alongside resource writers and the wider national team. You’ll guide team members in understanding their filming roles, contributing to the creative execution of shoots, and leading techniques and preparation, from pre-production planning through to the day of shooting.
  • Ensure all shoot equipment is ready and in good working condition, oversee its safe use during production, and return it to storage in a secure, functional state.
  • Film on set and on location to deliver video content that meets the agreed brief, demonstrating artistic creative flare and sophistication through shot composition, effective lighting, and clear audio to bring each scene to life.
  • Edit footage with creativity and skill, producing polished, on-brand video assets that clearly reflect [Employer hidden]’s mission and values for the right audiences.
  • Manage the secure uploading, organised cloud storage, and archiving of media assets (video primarily) so they are easily accessible for future projects.
  • Provide occasional on-the-ground event photography or staff/product shots as needed.
  • Support other camera operators and editors, assisting them to achieve the desired film outcomes.
  • Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, with strong experience in video editing, motion graphics, and compositing.
  • Provide training and guidance to other members of the Innovation team and wider [Employer hidden] teams as required.
  • Attend and capture live events as a videographer, working closely with national teams to produce dynamic and mission-aligned content.
  • Oversee and coordinate all filming and editing schedules, building in contingency time to manage risk. You will also manage the booking and schedule of the media suite to ensure resources are available when needed.
  • Represent [Employer hidden] at national conferences, commissioning services, and key events, supporting the Innovation and Helpful teams, helping raise the organisation’s profile, and providing on-site coordination.
  • Provide technical and production support at events where needed, helping to set up, run, and breakdown audio-visual systems.

  • Establish and maintain a secure, organised file-storage and sharing system for footage and edited content, ensuring the most effective workflow for the team.
  • Create a healthy and workable filming schedule which meets the needs of the organisation while also supporting a positive work-life balance.

Additional Duties:

  • To raise a minimum of 50% salary costs in ministry gifts and personal support and to develop and maintain a team of partners to support you in your work within [Employer hidden].

  • To attend mandatory safeguarding and health and safety training on an annual basis and to comply with branding guidelines.
