Fundraiser
[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] needs an experienced fundraiser to help keep us afloat. We need someone with the time and dedication to pursue local and national sources of funding. We have applied for funding but require someone with a little experience to pursue these avenues on our behalf.

What difference you will make
We rely solely on volunteers but even so our annual running costs for rent of our recording studio, electricity, telephone and insurance amount to £3,000. Without this income we cannot do our work which is so vital to the local blind community. With adequate funding we can continue to record and broadcast our weekly talking newspaper and reach our regular listeners.
What additional skills or experience you should have
The right person for us is someone with good contacts, knowledge of the charity sector and access to sources of funding.
What training we will provide for you
We won't provide any training. We will rely on your expertise.
What you will get out of volunteering for us
You will have the satisfaction of knowing that you are helping to keep the talking newspaper going. We have been running for 50 years and we play a vital role in keeping blind and partially sighted people in Redbridge and surrounding areas up to date with local news, events and advice centres. This is a lifeline for many individuals otherwise cut off from what's happening locally.
