At [Employer hidden] we are seeking DRIVERS for our vans. As a driver you will play an essential role in our operation by using our vans to collect food/supplies and delivering them to the network of food banks we support. Our service operates Monday to Friday and drivers are needed from 8:30am (starting in Mill Hill NW7) to around lunchtime. Our vans are located on Upper Page Street, Mill Hill, NW7 2BE There is free on-street parking available nearby.

Through our dedicated team of volunteers, we distribute vital supplies to foodbanks, ensuring they are able to help the thousands of vulnerable people who depend on their service. The valuable logistic service that we provide makes a real difference to people’s lives and currently enables the distribution of more than one million food parcels each year.

There is a huge demand for our essential work and as a 100% volunteer operated charity, we’re always looking for more drivers to join our dedicated team and help us run our vital collection and delivery service.

What additional skills or experience you should have

To volunteer as a driver you will need is a valid license. We have both manual and automatic vans available.

Please note that you must be at least 18 years old to volunteer with us.

What training we will provide for you

Health and safety training is provided for the correct lifting and carrying of the boxes and crates we distribute. They range from 5-30kg.
