At [Employer hidden] we are seeking ASSISTANTS. As an assistant you will accompany drivers on collection/delivery routes, helping to collect supplies and load/unload the vans. Our service operates Monday to Friday and assistants are needed from 8:30am (starting in Mill Hill NW7) to around lunchtime.

Through our dedicated team of volunteers, we distribute vital supplies to foodbanks, ensuring they are able to help the thousands of vulnerable people who depend on their service. The valuable logistic service that we provide makes a real difference to people’s lives and currently enables the distribution of more than one million food parcels each year.

For our distribution service to run smoothly and reliably it is crucial that we have plenty of assistants available, so we are always looking for new volunteers to lend a hand!

What additional skills or experience you should have

Assistants must be able to work with a partner to lift and carry boxes/crates ranging from 5-30kg.

Please note that you must be at least 18 years old to volunteer with us.

What training we will provide for you

Health and safety training is provided for the correct lifting and carrying of the boxes and crates we distribute.
