Collect donated books from homes and drop-off points across North London and deliver them to the warehouse. Help ensure a steady flow of stock for the warehouse team. ### About New Chapters (Shortened): New Chapters is [Employer hidden]’s thriving online second-hand book business based in a busy 3,000 sq ft warehouse in Harrow. It provides meaningful work and training for autistic adults and adults with learning disabilities, as well as the Langdon College students. Working alongside volunteers, they gain practical skills, such as sorting books, scanning stock, and preparing orders, while building confidence, independence, and readiness for future employment. ## What difference you will make

As a Volunteer Driver, you play a vital part in keeping New Chapters running. By collecting and delivering donated books, you ensure we have the stock needed for our busy warehouse team to work, learn, and grow. Your support directly helps autistic adults and adults with a learning disability to build confidence, develop workplace skills, and move toward greater independence. Every journey you make helps open doors to paid work, new opportunities, and a more empowered future for the people we support.

## What additional skills or experience you should have

  • A full, clean driving licence held for a minimum of 5 years.
  • Use of your own vehicle or eligibility to drive a van.

There will be online training provided, as well as an induction from the team at New Chapters!
