FULL DESCRIPTION

We are looking for people who love to cook!

Join us every Thursday afternoon to help prepare meals for approximately 150 people currently living on the streets of Central London. We will need you to assist with all aspects of preparing the meals and ensuring the kitchen is left clean. Work to food hygiene standards. Help to pack and label food. Ideally we need a team of 7 to ensure that all the food is ready and packed within a few hours.

What difference you will make

This role is pivotal in ensuring that over 150homeless people know they will receive freshly made and nutritious food every Thursday. What additional skills or experience you should have

  • Enjoy cooking and keeping a kitchen clean
  • Enjoy being part of a team.
  • Understands the importance of food hygiene
  • Whilst we cook every week, we would be happy if you can help us once a month or quarterly.
  • Follow direction.

What training we will provide for you

  • Food hygiene training will be given onsite
  • You will be supported by a team leader at your shift
  • Good onboarding about the charity.
