Jam Night: Social Pub Evening Volunteer (Supporting Autistic Adults & Adults with a Learning Disability)

Join us for Jam Night, a relaxed pub‑based social evening for autistic adults and adults with a learning disability in Edgware. As a volunteer, you’ll help create a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere by chatting with members, offering light support, and simply spending time together in a friendly pub setting. Jam Night is all about music, chilled vibes, and good company. One of our members regularly performs on the drums, so you’ll also get to enjoy some live music and cheer them on as they showcase their talent! This is a fun, easy going opportunity for volunteers who enjoy social settings and want to help adults feel included, confident, and supported while out in the community. Jam Night runs every Monday from 8pm. Whether you can stay for an hour or a bit longer, we really appreciate any support you can give!

What additional skills or experience you should have

No specific experience is required for this role - just a friendly, respectful attitude and a willingness to chat, listen, and engage in a social setting. Volunteers should feel comfortable in a busy pub environment and be able to contribute to a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere. What training we will provide for you

We will provide online safeguarding training, as well as training on how to volunteer with autistic people and people with a learning disability!
